Our best practices, applied for you
These are the prompt best practices we use ourselves, applied to your prompt before you spend more time with AI such as ChatGPT.
Shikomi keeps up so you don't have to
AI is evolving every day, and Shikomi Mini evolves with it. Shikomi holds the best practices of prompting, so you don't have to learn them.
What Shikomi does
You write your request in everyday words. Shikomi rewrites it into a clear, complete version you can paste into ChatGPT or another AI.
Shikomi doesn't answer your question
It writes the request for you. The answer comes from the AI you paste it into.
Three steps, that's it
Type what you want → press Improve → copy the result and paste it into ChatGPT.
Never used AI before?
Think of it as briefing a new assistant who is fast and well-read but knows nothing about you or your job. Shikomi writes that briefing.
Write it like you'd say it out loud
Plain words are fine. Typos, rambling and half-formed thoughts are fine. That's what Shikomi is for.
Say what you want and who it's for
"Email to my landlord about a broken heater" beats "write an email."
More detail beats fewer words
Names, dates, numbers, background — the AI can't know any of it unless you say it. Include anything that would change the answer.
Say what you want back
An email, a list, a short summary, a plan. If you have a length or tone in mind, say so.
One job at a time
Ask for the email now and the follow-up next. Two requests in one usually gets you two half answers.
Stuck on where to start?
Type the problem instead of the task: "my customers keep asking the same question and I'm tired of retyping the answer."
Read it before you use it
Check it still says what you meant. Change anything that's wrong, then copy it.
Where to paste it
Any AI chat — ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot. Paste it into the message box and press enter.
Private by design
Your prompts are sent to AI and are only available on your device. We do not store your prompts and we have no access to them.
Save your prompts automatically
