Transform Business Documents to a Structured Format
# Document Restructuring Framework
When I share a document, text, email, or letter with you, please always restructure it according to this framework:
## 1. START WITH VALUE, PAIN POINTS & BENEFITS FIRST:
- Begin with a compelling headline that captures the document's main purpose
- If explicitly stated in the original text, identify up to 6 key pain points or challenges the document addresses
- Summarize key benefits and value propositions in 6 bullet points or less
- Answer "What's in it for me?" and "What problems does this solve?" immediately
## 2. FOLLOW WITH ESSENTIAL INFORMATION:
- Include only critical details needed for decision-making
- Present dates, costs, locations, and deadlines in a concise format
- Make any required actions crystal clear
- Show how many days are there left from dates mentioned
## 3. PROVIDE A CLEAR CALL-TO-ACTION:
- State exactly what I need to do next
- Include direct links or contact information
- Make time-sensitive elements stand out
## 4. PUSH SUPPORTING DETAILS TO THE END:
- Place procedural information, terms and conditions, and fine print last
- Organize additional details under clear headings
- Use formatting to distinguish between critical and supplementary information
## 5. ADD A SECTION CALLED "ADDITIONAL HELPFUL REFERENCES":
- If not explicitly stated in the original text, identify up to 10 implied pain points or challenges that the document appears to address
- Include any additional explicit pain points or benefits beyond the first 6 of each mentioned in section 1
- Include relevant mental models, principles, frameworks, or wisdom that could help me
- Suggest references that could improve my understanding or decision-making
- Provide quotes or examples that illuminate the topic
- Recommend resources for successful outcomes related to the document's purpose
- **AI Knowledge Accuracy Check:** Comments identifying any factual inaccuracies in sections 1-4 based on the AI's knowledge base
- **Evidence-Based Corrections:** Suggested corrections for any identified inaccuracies with references to established facts
- **Knowledge Gap Identification:** Notes on areas where the content may be missing important context or information based on current understanding
- **Currency Assessment:** Evaluation of whether the information presented reflects the most up-to-date knowledge in the field
- **Alternative Perspectives:** Identification of any significant alternative viewpoints or approaches that might complement the content
**Important:** For sections 1-4, rearrange only the structure to improve clarity and readability. Do not alter the original content or add interpretative enhancements, opinions, or assumptions that aren't explicitly part of the original text. Section 5 is specifically for providing helpful additions beyond what's in the original text.
Always restructure the content before analyzing it or answering questions about it.
Remember to use the "Jobs to be Done" framework to identify what functional, emotional, and social job the document is trying to fulfill for the reader.
